Moisture Resistant Boards

Special Features:

• Water resistant property encased in the gypsum core. A specific green facing paper made to withstand the effects of moisture and high humidity.

These boards are manufactured according to ASTM C-1396 and comply with testing method C-473.

• Star Gypsum Fire-Resistant boards are reinforced with fiber glass to give resistance to fire for a period of 2 hours.
• Star Gypsum Green water and moisture resistant boards are manufactured with silicon additives to improve resistance to water where percentage of water absorption does not exceed 5% as per ASTM standard. Those boards are used in the places exposed to high moisture and humid areas such as swimming pool, bath room and coastal projects.
• Star Gypsum Fire & Moisture resistant boards are made with fiber glass and impregnated with silicon oil/emulsion additive to get good mechanical strength
• Fire & Moisture resistant boards are mostly used in underground houses/stores, military underground ammunition depots.
